"Over the top!" the lieu( nan( houted, and a line of khaki-clad figures climbed out of the long tr nch. Bullets whist.l d by and frequent lla hes marked the hits of the big siege guns . The wind c1·ied mockingly ahout him, as he rushed forward . He laughed crazily. Then suddenly a huge black object. came hurt.ling toward him out of nowhere . He tried to run, but his legs wouldn't move . There was a blinding lla hand then darkn s. \Vhen he reached home, or at least they aid it was home, everything was strange. \Vhat was it they said he had? Oh, ye , amnesia. Funny, but he couldn't remember a thing. He'd been taken to speciali ts, but they all had haken their heads. There was Mary, his wife, and little Tomm . "How awful!" he thought. Then one day, poking around in the library, he ran across an old book. On the cover was a picture of some building it looked like a college building. He thumbed through a few pages, scanning the numerous pictures. uddenly a face caught his attention . me– how it looked familiar why, it' it' it's Bill! Bill Baldwin and (exuberant now) that's that's Jim . Like a flash everything came clear. He was all right now. The book was the almagundi. Many do not realize the full valu of the olgate yearbook at first, but years later, when long-forgoUen faces and events, and memorable undergraduate days which have long since faded away, are recalled to them, they wonder what they ever would have done without one . The almagundi is a treasur d po ession . Through the diligent work of Editor-in- hief cd Garvey and Managing Editor Dave William , coupled with the wi e handling of busine s ends by G orge Ayrault, the year 193 - 39 makes th econd time that the remarkable feat of getting the almagundi out for Junior Prom has been accomplished . With the able assistance of everal hardworking juniors, namely George Fisk, Bud Donahue, and Bob Glendening, and a capable sophomore b ard, 126
