30 Nicky Burt has organized his own band. It includes Joyce Christmas vocalist; Nancy Elton, saxophone; De1mis Morris, clarinet; David Ward, piano; and Mickey Welch, drums. Susanne Campbell is the new piano player for Lawrence Welk. Jeanette Carpenter inherited the Murphy Ford Company about a year ago. She has recently hired Linda King as her secretary and Andy Savage as head salesman. Thomas Chapman is a big time radio announcer of WLS in Chicago. He has chosen Larry Kusturin and Harry Walker as D-J's. Freida Pierce does the "Greasy-Kid-Stuff Commercial." Larry Collins has taken Coach Crews' place as football coach. And his wife, the former Nancy Riley, teaches the first grade. Also Brenda Wooten, Pat Morman, and Emilie Wells couldn't bear the thought of leaving HHS. Pat has taken Coach Dean's place in fifth period government class. Brenda teaches P. E. , and Emilie teaches Home Ec. Rosalyn Collins and Betty Rosen are on the women's pro -basketball team. Renee Courson is an X-ray technician at the Dallas Hospital. Frances Streeter and Linda White are nurses, while James Yates is another Ben Casey. At the new hospital in Hamburg, Betty Edge and Helen Golden hold two impor– tant positions. Betty is the head nurse and Helen is the Chief -of -Staff. Don Walker and Bobby Martin are presently abroad. Don is visiting the Holy Land, and Bobby is in Italy. After spending most of his life in another world, Billy Sivils, an astronaut, has been chosen to be the first man on Saturn. Ann Edwards will be home on furlough next month. She is a missionary to South Africa. Carol Ann Stone is still trying to land her sailor and hoping to live in Hawaii. David Elizandro, as a result of his ability to act innocent, is still sitting in Mr. Hundley's English class working an algebra problem for the next period. Larry Hall owns a fisherman's paradise in the wilds of Burma. Also in the heart of Burma is Geraldine Morgan, selling fishing poles. "Advice to the Lovelorn" is being written by Sylvia Carpenter and read in newspapers all over the world--even in Hamburg. Johnny Hayden is still attending A&M College. However, for some strange reason, he is commuting. His commuting partner is Gary Rice. From some unexpected source Roy Grantham and Jimmy Grissom have recently inherited a large fleet of commercial fishing boats. They have asked Ann Kinnaird and Jo Spencer to go with them on their cruise to the Mediterranean. Martha Riley and her partner Veralyn Watt have become very wealthy as men's hair stylists in London, England. Eddie 0' Neal is an all-star professional football player. Mike Lovell couldn't bear the thought of leaving Eddie, so he is still his faithful manager. Robert Johnson has developed a sure-fire reducing formula for men. That accounts for the seniors of 1965. There may or may not be a Thomas Edison in the group, but they will make good use of their Lamps of Opportunity.
