FAENA The {aena is one of the most important parts of la fiesta brava. It is during the faena that the matador uses the muleta, a red flannel cape, to show his skill in ex– ecuting intricate passes. ln the bullfight a matador's fame depends greatly on his control of the bull with the cape. High school activi– ties are like the faena because with good activities a school gains respect in the community.
