DIANE Born dia, Diana!! Tho e were familiar words to Diane Denno, our American Field ervice representative in Brazil. Diane stayed in outh America from February un– til eptember 1963. Her Brazilian home was in Marilia, a town in the state of ao Paulo. Diane lived with the Barbalho family. he had two sister , ages 5 and 6, and one brother, age 13. Diane relayed her experience to many people through a column in The ew , a local newspaper. Her journey brought her a chance not only to di cover the cu toms and people of Brazil, but al o to meet other A. . . students.
