We are each an intricate puzzle, assembled from a collection of over 20,000 genes and shaped by every novel we explore, impromptu discussion we hold, and pop quiz we take. The countless experiences we share, both in and outside of the classroom, shape us.
The hours we spend studying for AP Biology, running the grueling extra mile after an intense soccer practice, or perfecting a song in preparation for a choir recital allow us to become better students, teammates, and friends. While we each struggle to piece together our own puzzles, we unknowingly contribute to a collective mosaic and form the community that surrounds us.

This book is a window into the Burlingame community which inarguably envelopes all of us during our time here. It stands as a culmination of our unique puzzle pieces: a reminder that this place, our place, would not be the same without the diverse students and faculty members who add unique perspectives to our journey through high school. It is impossible for us to escape the influence Burlingame High School has made in our lives.
