I I I 0 JUEL RAE ADAMS Judy has kept hers-elf busy during the last four years in Burlingame Hi participating in sports and schoolactivitiesand making a host of friends as well. Outstanding are Judy's poise and charm, which she has so capably used m: chairman of the A.G.S. Hospitality Committee. RICHARD ANDERSON Burlingame's star golfer, Dick has also been associated during his senior year with a slick 1946 Ford which is all his. Known as "Andy" by his friends, he hm: three years of bas!•elball experience behind him. Jazz-record collecting is his hobby, and college is on his horizon. JOAN BARNES Her gorgeous red hair, her laugh, and her all-around good nature add up to make "Bamie" one of the best-liked girls in the senior class. The friends she has made in the lower classmen, as well m: in her own class, will miss her a great deal when she leaves Burlingame and enters Oregon U. next fall. BARBARA BAYMILLER Lots of pep, an outstanding personality and a gorgeous smile - all wrapped up into one darling girl, Barbara Baymiller. She's made loads of friends in Blingum but will be remembered especially for the swell job she did as cheer leader. Good luck, Bar we'll mis~ you! ' PRISCILLA BLESCH Priscy ha~ a terrific personality and a wit that can't be beaten. Her friendly laugh and her wonderful sense of humor have won her many friends in Blingum, and we all seem to agree that our class just would not be complete without her. ROGER ADAMS A newcomer to Burlingame last fall, Reg quickly became one of the most popular bays in the class. He was a member of the varsity basketball team and was elected Vicepresident of the Senior Class this ~ring. College is on his future list. ROBERT BAER Called "Trebar Reab" ever since his council campaign speech, (where he received the biggest individual number :>f votes) Bob has been very active in school activities. Besides being Student Manager thi!: spring, Bob has had two years of outstanding first string baseball. He has been on the honor roll five times out of the last seven semester~. He intends to go to Stanford. ARDIS BARTHOLOMEW Little, but oh so cute, is Ardis, known to most of us a!: "Art." Her presence in the school orchestra through the past years has greatly added, we think, to its success; and no doubt she will be miss-ed by all. CAROLYN BLAKE Keeping up on the "news" and writing the Blingum Banter has been Carolyn's "main" occupation for the past year. Yes, the "Butterfly" knows all and we might add, she has done a wonderful job. Her wit and charming personality have won her many good friends, and the old halls won't seem the same without her. SHIRLEY BLODGETT Blonde-haired Shirley, attrac live manager of the girls' swimming team, has been active in sports ever since she tranefered here in her junior year. This fall will find her in San Mateo J. C.

J U II SHIRLEY BOLT Blonde hair ,hazel eyes, and a sparkling personality . . . these are the things we'll especially remember when thinking of "Bolt." She has the reputation of getting into mischief and always laughing through her troubles. Sometimes we wonder if she can ever be serious.... CAROLE BREYER A quiet, conscientious, sweet girl. Carole has made many lasting friends in teachers as well as students at Burlingame Hi. Her ability to work hard and get result!: has been shown by the part she has played in many school activities, especially as editor of the Yearbook. JOHN BROSE Friendly, likable Joe'· is one of the many Burlingame skiing enthusiasts. In schooi.Jack has indulged in A.B.S. activities, has been on the honor society twice, and ha!: played guard on last season's football team. As it is with most Blingum boys, he hopes to go to college. JOYCE BULL Quiet ... until one gets to know her . . . Jerce has a friendly personality and beautiful blonde hair. She has been Record Commissioner. LOIS BURNS "PeeWee" is a very small brunette, as you might gather by her cute nickname. She has a quiet, pleasant manner; and, although she sometimes seems shy, everyone likes and admires her. She loves to sing and has been in all the recent choral concerts. JACK BOOKER Nicknamed the "Profe:::sor" because of his scholarly bearing, Jack's outside activities are numerous. He delves into chemistry, mineralogy, and leather tooling besides playing the flute in the school band. He has been a member of the water polo and swimming teams. Jock hopes to become a college professor. NANCY BRISTOW During her years in Blingum Nancy's been active in school affairs as well as sports. She is a past Commissioner of School Affairs and a member of the Block "B" society. Nancy's dark hair, beautiful complexion and friendly personality are definite assets to her class ... heard tell there's a certain fella thinks so too! SALLY BUCKMAN Tall. charming, with long brown hair, Sally is one of Burlingame's outstandingly good-looking girls. Besides that she has an especially likable personality. She is a very good artist. Although Sal is a little shy, we love her just the way she is. CORINNE BURGE The other half of the Freeborn - Burge team, "Cork" is what we call a really "good head." Her ability to make friends and to have a smile for everyone has made her a popular gal around the old familiar halls a gal we'll all miss a great deal. ROBERT BURTSCHER Bob has been a very hardworking student throughout high school. He has been at the top of his classes in math and science. Collecting stomps is his hobby, but he will have to forget it for a while when he enlists in the United States Coast Guard.

I I CHARLES CALLAGHAN Nicknamed "Tiny" and "Big Stoop" because of his small stature which extends only to six feet five, Charley's main interest is in sports. He has been a member of both the Order and Photography Commissions. He will enter college next fall. ROBERT CLARK A standout in any group because of his flaming red hair, Bob is a staunch golfer. He was a member of this year's team. His quick wit and friendly personality will make him popular in college. tOROTHY JOANNE COULTER Here's the girl with the gorgeous blonde hair, the beautiful voice, and poise and charm as well. She is a great favorite of all Blingum Hi as anyone can understand if they have heard her sing. We are all very proud of Dottie Jo and wish her all possible success! GERAlDINE CRAVALHO Dark-eyed Gerry, President of the A.G.S., has a sparkling smile and a friendly personality that have won her many friends. She has devoted a great deal of her time to school activities and will be wellremembered for her enthusiastic school spirit! MARYALYCE DALTON Soft-voiced,quiet, and small, M. A. is crazy over horses. An experienced rider, she is quite at home on any horse. She is ako quite a little dramatist and hence both an interesting and entertaining companion. I 0 R SALLY CEASER It's been quite a while since we've seen "The Great Ceaser" roaming old Blingum's halls, and you can bet all who know her have missed her. In addition to being a wonderful student, Sally's outstanding qualities are her sincerity and her sweet disposition. We wish the best of everything to one who really deserves it. GORDON CLINE Although his nickname Is "Gordo," he has been an active participant in both basketball and track, and his speed afoot has been his main asset. Gordo's outstanding record in math should help him in San Mateo J. C. His hobby is collecting jazz records. CARL CRAIG Although a quiet boy, Carl's hobbies have a wide range. He lil:es tinkering with cars, collecting coins, and playing golf. His intention is to take in college after graduating. LORAINE CULBERTSON Twice Secretary of the Council, Corky has proved to be an outstanding addition to our student body. Her pep and personality, her shiny blonde hair and ever-ready smile make this cute little gal a favorite among us all! HELEN DAVIS Gifted with the art of writing, Helen is well remembered as editor of the "B," and as student director of "Cry Havoc" and"Stage Door." As president of the Girls' Block "B," Publicity Commissioner, and member of the Spanish and Mummers Clubs, "Davis" has become quite well known around Blingum. The University of California and the staff of the S. F. Chronicle are Helen's goals.
