Symposium Discusses Modern Literary Works The purpose of Symposium club is to pro– vide on opportunity for students to take part in serious, intelligent and mentally stimulat– ing discussions . Fellow students who have the same desire meet every other Wednesday throughout the year. The members of the club, sponsored by Mr Price Smith, have engaged in a study of l46 nineteenth and twentieth century philosophy, and a study of musical and literary forms. The club also held a discussion on thought and thought processes. The social events of Symposium c lub have consisted of several potluck suppers during the year.
