Courses such as drawing and painting, fashion drawing, commercial art, ceramics and creative art are available to students. Many students enter their works in com– petition including the National Scholastic Art contest. East has many winners each year. An art service class is designed by the art department to help with stage sets and scen– ery. Lorry Bec!t expresses his artistic abil– ity as he does his project for Com– mercial art.
