Members of this )or society weren't linary students; they ~e people who went extra mtle. f o be Inducted, French ~ents had to have :omplished at least ir second year with a imum GPA of 3.5 in French. Also, once a student was inducted, he was a member of the society forever. "The possibility of being inducted it')to French Honor Society motivated me to do well in French. I was so excited when I got in!" stated Leila Hahn. But there was more to French Honor Society than just being a member. They ate French food and watched Frencn&movies · on a regular basis. Also, in February, they had a Mardi Gras with the other language clubs. They also offered tutoring to otner French students. "Students can sign up for tutoring through their teachers for either Wednesday or Thursday. I enjoy having this opportunity to help other students in need," commented Robin Crosley. "Being in E'rench Honor Society gives me a 'chance to learn more about the French culture, and also allows me time for fellowship with other French students," exclaimed Jarrish Jones. Members of this club reached a rugh standard of excellence for others to follow.
