Some members had cheered in middle school, but for some, it was a new experience. "I have gotten to know a lot of people through cheering," said Maggie McMurray, "It also keeps me in good physical condition." With practices for about two hours a day, three days a week, the squad really got a good workout. "The girls have shown lots of improvement since our first practice and their capabilities have increased," stated Coach Cynthia Owen.
