Go Like A Devil Running to Victory " In Cross Country you have to give a lot to get a little,'' commented Krystal Short. "CC has grueling practices," added Corey Foley, "but the rewards are worth it." "The only thing I dislike is when I have to get up really early on the weekends," said Brian Herring. Although everyone had small things about CC which they disliked, no one could say enough about what they did like. "I love the challenge," stated Brian. "I enjoy the healthy feeling that I get from running," explained Corey. "Winning is what I like!" explained Marc Mosely. "It gives me a chance to compete in races," added Krystal. " It's a good way to escape the hassles of homework, teachers and family," stated Corey. Coach Townsend expounded on the value of running. "I enjoy working with students outside of the classroom and enjoy seeing them improve in an activity, like running, through consistent training."
