"The football team went into 1990 with high hopes, but suffered losses from having a lack of players that were eligible to play in the games," said Shawn Brass, a senior on the team. "Even with having ineligible players, our games were still close," added Ryan Estevez. He continued, "Our ineligible players came back later on in the season, and we beat Lakewood during their Homecoming.'' Pulling this group together so that they could work as one unit was Coach Dusty Boylson. The team seemed to have a high degree of respect for each other. "Our team is made up of many high quality players, perhaps the best in our district," said Ryan. ''The members of the team were not only strong and respectable on the outside, but also on the inside," commented Marcus. Commitment to the group was a shared sentiment. They supported each other on and off the field. "Each member of the team is committed to the sport," said Coach Boylson. "I'm proud to be associated with these young men." -Rich Woody
