St. Petersburg High School 1991 Yearbook (St. Petersburg, FL) - Full Access

Jackhammers, drills and paint brushes brought forth the renovation of our building, but a Thespian musical production in the theater, a Civitan landscape in the courtyard, and an NHS tutor in the classroom brought forth its revival. Involved students created a new look for our school that stretched beyond the paint and nails into our hearts and minds. Our service clubs added the finishing touches as Key, Civitan, and Interact revitalized the courtyards and the front of the school. As well as beautifying our exterior, service clubs offered a way to improve our interior as we volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House and the Christmas Toy Shoppe. We allowed our creativity to flow as we participated in a contest to design the new emblem for the theater seats . Through the clubs, we were able to put our own unique handprint on the ever changing face of our " new look." - Kira Scherer Planting pride: Key Club members add beauty to the front of the school.
