From the freshman to senior classes, all grades looked forward to the annual privilege of embarrassing events one night during Homecoming Week. "It was really exciting to go as a freshman to Activities Night," said Thea Reiff. "I had a great time playing powder puff and watching the guys look crazy as cheerleaders." Activities Night included the powder puff struggle between the classes, as well as other tests of strength, agility, and speed. Left: When the going gets tough ... Senior Jordon Cooper flashes a huge grin to reciprocate the rowdy behavior of the senior crowd. O•F "The Powder Puff gets the crowd most involved, in my opinion," stated junior Matt Larrison. "People love that event. Not only can you watch the girls battle on the field, but you can also see the guys try to imitate the cheerleaders!'' Powder Puff, as exciting as it was, had to share the evening with other events. The seniors dominated, with strength and speed in the Volkswagon push, and they took first place in the Scarecrow contest. The juniors pulled ahead in both the Door Above: When push comes to shove. Sophomores J . J . Smith, Tara McMurray, and Megan Palmateer put forth their all as they pursue victory in the buggy push. Decorating and the Three Legged Race, while the sophomores went home with the powder puff victory. "I wouldn't miss Activity Night," said Cary Will, a junior. "I've been all three years. It's an important part of Homecoming." "This Activities Night was special to me," said senior Dan DiRoma, "because I knew it was the last one I'd ever be involved in."
