An honored exchange. Stormy takes a victory lap around the track after being named 1990 Homecoming Queen. Exchanging smiles. Junior Exchange co-president Anthony Rizzo and sweetheart Stormy Steakley serve their club and their community happily. A multitude of exchanging. Mr. McCauley, Stormy, and all the Exchange Club members get together for a lasting memory. ]EC Sweetheart - Stormy Steakley Serving as Sweetheart makes for special year She was sitting in her car before school one May morning and not expecting anything unusual. Then, a friend asked her to come to the courtyard. As she stepped into the patio, she was surrounded by the men of Junior Exchange, and they were all laughing and hugging her. She was their choice for sweetheart. "I was certainly surprised to be chosen," said Stormy Steakley, "I never expected it to be me." Honored, happy and amazed were a few of the words Stormy used to describe how she felt that morning. "It was a wonderful feeling to be on the receiving end of all that attention," she said. As the school year began, Stormy vowed to get involved. She made it a priority to attend meetings as well as service projects and it paid off. "Being a member of Junior Exchange has made my senior year the best. I love all the guys for making me feel so special." The guys shared similar sentiments for Stormy. "She was a great choice," said president, Brian Herring. He continued, "She has added a great deal to the club; we wouldn't trade her for anything." - Maria Appuglies 274 • Community/Layout Design by Marla Appugliese
