Interact Sweetheart - Cathy Saccucci Serving as Sweetheart Proves Rewarding Gifts, hugs, and cheers galore greeted Cathy Saccucci one bright May morning, as the men of Interact chose her to be their 1990-1991 sweetheart. "I was in total shock!" exclaimed Cathy, "I had no idea that I would receive such an honor ." With the glory of Tapping Day also came the hours of energy spent helping the club complete their projects. Cathy pitched in by providing sweets and sweat. "She's a great sweetheart, and she does so much for us," noted Travis Smith . "She's always there to lend a hand, especially when Christmas trees were delivered . She even helped throw trees from the truck!" Cathy enjoyed her time with Interact as she competed with them during Activities Night and sold trees with them during their annual fundraiser. Besides leaving lasting memories with the Interact men, she also left some words of advice for next year's lucky girl. "Don't be afraid to get to know the men.
