For seventeen years, these have welcomed searching youth into a world of boundless adventure. Guiding steps have marked the passage of countless generations upon the path way of learning. The windows have witnessed the despair in youthful tears and the joy in radiant smiles. We have shown our courage and been christened "the Braves." With the knowledge and skills we have acquired. we have broken the chains of ignorance and have set goals and envisioned dreams. As we approach the threshold of tomorrow, we see that we are a part of the NEVER ENDING STORY. BRAVE TRADITION

For those who will listen, a voice of the past whispers from many historical sites. In this community the old and new often exist side by side. Although students enjoy going to the beach and roaming in the mall, they still treasure the quiet walks around the lake and the festivities of the Chautauqua Festival.

The enthusiasm of early pioneers is still evident today. Our Brave mascot, the symbol of the first Americans, is part of our school's heritage. The lyrics to our Alma Mater, written almost fifty years ago, are still sung today. The feeling ofpride which this song invokes has made it a part of the NEVER ENDING STORY. This deep sense of pride and reverence links us together. Years from now, it will be easy to recall the laughter, the pride, and ·the Brave spirit, but what of the hopes and dreams that filled our hearts ...
