SUB-FRESHMEN Bounding up the tep of Columbu High i our younge t group of tudent , the ub-fre hmen. They came to u this year imply grammar chooler now they are true Blue Devil in every en e of the word. This year ha been a mo t grand and exciting e perience for them. They attended their fir t pep meet– ing, Columbus High style. They went to their fir t high chool dance and ~any of them had their first date. But the mo t exciting thing that ha happened to them ha b en that they are at la t a true part of CH . Ambitiou ha mo t certainly been a word that you could use to de cribe the e ub-fre hmen, for they are overflowing with ambition. Everything they' e at– tempted to do, they've entered into with an eagerne and joy that i often lacking in many of the upperclassmen. Although in quantity they are the smalle t of cla e at CH , numbering only 105, they make up for this lack in the quality of the acts they do. They will not soon forget the friends they've made at Columbus High this year, nor will they forget the happenings they have shared with these friends. As their fir t year at CH draws to a clo e, the sub-fre hmen will ha e memories to recall, for this has be~n their first year in the wonderful world of teenagers.
