President-Joyce Land Vice-President-Joan McBroom Secretary-Evelyn King Treasurer-Marilon Gammage timulating interest in the theater and providing acting experience are two of the main purposes of the Footlighters Club. Members learn the art through films on make-up, lighting, co turning and other theater– related subjects. A highlight of the year was the staging of the fall production of the play "Drums of Death." tudent acquired experience through the hard work in– volved in planning and in producing such a play. Club meeting were held twice a month on Monday afternoons. At these meeting members sometimes entertained one another, read play or gave critical evaluation of the– atrical work . One of the biggest projects of the year was the pon oring of the Junior Footlighters. Thi club is for all eighth grader intere ted in the theater or dramatics.
