The various member laved for weeks making gi– gantic mu hroom for "Forest Fantasy" before it was completed. For week ahead the member of the club, along with the advi er, Mi s Barbara Maul, could be een around the chool carrying crepe paper, chicken wire, hammer , nail and even 2 x 4' . They al o p nt many long hours after school and at night working on the mushrooms. Member o£ the Art Club, dre ed a elve , rode on the float. After the mu hroom were built the float wa entitled "Fore l Fanta y". The purpo e of the Art Club is to acquaint it member with the many form of art which are part of our daily life and to e tabli h an appreciation and under tanding of the art . The member are given the opportunity to develop eH– confidence and lo explore the many field of art a a hobby or a a tep toward their future.
