Corradino With blaring horn ~, cia hing cymbal and boom– ing drum , the 100 member Blue Devil band marched down the field. Performing elaborate maneuver the band recei ed worthy praise from excited pectator at each football game. B cause of it out tanding marching and playing ability, the Blue Devil Band wa invited for the third time to attend the Orange Bowl Game in Miami. During the winter and spring month the band played concert music. The group divided into the ymphonic Wind En emble and the Cc;mcert Band, the former being op n to those more experienced tudent of advanced mu ical ability. Both concert band provided entertain– ing program for the public, as well a participated in the tate Mu ical Fe tival, which is held in Columbu each March. Again Blue Devil player marched to vic– tory with a up rior rating. entertainment and instruction. parade and at footall game with its enthu ia tically aroused school spirit. ( 189 )
