Herman Dollar, Mr. Wayne Renegar, Mi fary Ali rnold and Dr. John D ason, are alway ready and capable of facing any ituation. Th y solve problem, wh ther large or mall, which might arise for the many tudents and teachers at Columbus High. The 69 teachers at CH have been teaching for 583 year . This i both definite proof of their experience and the number reached after adding all their years of teaching together. But the e teacher have more than ju t practice, they have degree to prove their compe– tence. Fifteen member of the faculty ha e an M.A. degree, eighteen a B. . d gree, nine an .B., i a B.A., two a B.M., three a M.Ed ., one an M. ., and one an Ed.D. Member of the CH faculty are from eight tates including Alahama, Florida, Georgia, Loui iana, orth Carolina, Tenne see, Texas, and Virginia. Being from many different place , they have different per onalities. Thi variety gi e pupil the opportunity to become ac– quainted with variou idea and opinion . Eighty-five per cent of all tudent at CHS go on to further learning. orne cour e available for col– lege preparation are analytic and olid geometry, third year Latin, phy ic and chemi try. Research theme give tudents practice for writing in college while te ts are on ix we k work. Teacher and tudents are proud to be a part of CHS.
