To follow a tradition of long tanding, cheerleader Penny 1oore, orky Key, 1ar~ha Thweatt, Beverly Riddle, Bubber William and Joe [itchell decorate the goal po t with the colors of Columbus High-orange and blue treamers. One of the bigge~t event~ of e\ery year is the parade down Broad treet ju t before the Columbu ·Jordan football game. Th Band and the cheer! ader lead off a line of decorated car follow. The e pepped·up fan are certain of a big victory. If any one phra e could de cribe the ummer and autumn of 1959, il would be called "the lime wl1en bowling look over Columbus." ~ h n the Bowl-a-rama opened in ] une, Devil o[ many ize and hape took to the alley .
