The preparatory course at CH are used to endow the pupil with certain craft and kill which the tudent will have occasion to use in hi cho en vocation or avocation. uch cla se are ROTC, art, typing, short– hand, bookkeeping, phy ical education, mu ic and home economic . Art, commercial course and home economic carry a full academic unit to be counted toward a diploma. ROTC and the mu ical cour e carry a full non-academic unit, of which two are required for graduation. Phy ical education i worth only half a non-academic unit. The variou cla . e taught which come under thi heading are not heavily required for a diploma, but are very important to the tudent in d veloping hi talent and creating for him a well-rounded per onality and attitude.
