An average of 16 to 17 million gallon of water a day i upplied to the 135,000 citizen of Columbu . Another form of power pre nt in thi locality i the 68,653 men tationed at Fort Benning. Although ~upplying power to the United tate , Fort Benning al o upplie power in the form of 170 tudent to u and we thank the government for it aid. However, the greate t bulk of Columbu ' power doe not come from the river, indu try or government, but from the people. Our school i a large contributing factor, for it 1,583 tudent are a ource of thi power. The form of power that we will offer to the city cannot be termed as gallon , kilowatt hour or hor power, but rather a achie ement , enthu ia m and brain-power. ( 5 )
