Sumulong (Sec.} Me111bers Of HUB Prepare For Further Education Hawaii Upward Bound is a state-wide program whose objective is to assist students with academic potential. Members are selected as Sophomores and commence by attending a six-week summer ses– sion at the University of Hawaii Manoa campus. During that time they live in one of the dorms with students from six other high schools and take academic classes, as well as participate in athletic, social, and cultural activities. During the Easter break they traveled to another island for a science field trip. Besides this they attened two plays and continued to meet at the UH once a month. Row 1: M. Galario, S. Celestino, B.
