36 Faculty Principal, Hartwell H. LeeLoy I wish to extend congratulations to the Ke Ahe Kai Staff for exemplyfing the Spirit of Aloha in this year's theme, 'Our Islands' Paradise". Hawaii is indeed a PARADISE- "A place of bliss; a state of happiness". Hawaii is reknowned for its tropical weather; its melting pot of people living in harmony. Hawaii too is Aloha and Aloha is Love. I always feel that we in Waianae live that spirit of Aloha - Trusting, Loving and Forgiving. These are ingredients to which others are seeking and searching. As we reflect on "Our Islands' Paradise", may we continue to share that Spirit of Ohana, that Spirit of Lokahi, and that Spirit of Aloha to our classmates, our teachers and our families.
