CLASS HIS'roRY The eighth grade class has been pretty active this year. At the beginning or the year we had football. The players were: Lorrin Gerard, Don Wiess, Ronnie Swift, Richard Ogden, Gene Frederickson, and Duane Roggentien. The members or the girls bas~tball team we re: Mary Randall, Sally Bellamy, Karen Engelbert, Eleanor Kahler, Twyla Gerard, JoAnn Hartz, Joan Woodward, Glenda Smith, LaVonne Buswell, Dorothy Klein, Pnd Phyllis Gleason. Their record was three wins and four losses. Members or the boys team were: Ronnie Swirt, Duane Roggentien, and Gene Frederickson. They lost only two or their games. The Junior High will also have a baseball team this year. In the Junior High Sextet are the rollowing: Karen Engelbert, second soprano, JoAnn Hartz, first soprano, Mary Randall, alto, and Sally Bellamy, first soprano. The cheerleade r s for the Junior High were Karen Engelbert, JoAnn Hart z, Sally Ball~, Twyla Gerard, and Betty Bell. The band members were: Mary Randall, Ronnie Swift, Janice Jacobi, Sally Bellamy, Twyla Gerard, and Karen Engelbert. The Junior High play "Rip Van Winkle" will be held in March, and many or the eighth graders have parts. The eighth grade president is Marilyn Knock.
