CLASS HISTORY We entered the seventh ~rade in the rall of 1950. Our ~irst ac– tivity was football. 'fhe following were on the Junior High tear.1: Flcyd Neitzel , Bob Novak, Gene Smith, Clarence Hawkins, Ralph Kahler, Garry i'/aline, Bob Daugherty, Russell Lynn, and Winston Hahn. Last fall our Safety Patrol was organized. Pa trolmen from the seventh ~~rde were Albert Hunnell, captain, Kenneth Gearhart, lieu– tenant, and Gene Srni th. Our winter activities began with basketball. The followin ,:; were on the girls team: Shirley Fry, Frances Luce, and Patty ~ilson . The members of the boys team were .Bob Hovak and Gene Smith. During the halves of the high school basketball grunes our tumb– ling team gave performances. The followin~ are included on the team: Wayne Blount, Cla renee Hv.vrkins, Eob Novak, Winston Ha.'1n, and Garry Waline. In March we gave a play called "Rip Van Winkle. 11 The cast from the seventh grade were Winston Hahn, Albe rt Hunnell, Wayne Blount, Gene Snith, Dorothy Fuller, Mary Jo Masteller , Floyd Neitzel, Bob Novak, Kenneth Ge arhart, Eddie Williams, Russell Lynn, Clarence Hawkins, Evelyn Simpson, Judy Honn, LaVerne Frimnl, Tom Hogan, Marilyn Weldon, and Bob Daugherty. Eleven of our students participated in band this year. They are Marilyn R., Patty w., Winston H., Joanne K., Judy H., Mary M., LaVerne F., Kay Beth F., Pamela R., Genes., and Bob D.
