Forward. Lona, an outstanding rorward with her lert hand set– shot, has gained much recognition by her righting spirit and her ability to rebound. Her many points will be missed in the record book next year. Letter winner 1-2-3-4. Guard. Norma shows rirst class ability in guarding, handling the ball and getting the rebounds. As a great asset to the team she will be greatly missed next season. Letter winner 3-4. Forward. Rosie1s lack or height is made up by her set-shots and rree throws. She never lacks the will to win and several times this season bas pulled us to victory 1n the closing minutes of the game. Letter winner 3-4. Guard. Roma has lots or vitality which helped her to do a good job or guarding. Although handicapped by a knee injury she was always relied on to do her job. Letter winner 4. Guard and Forward. Although Peggy could play both derensive and orrensive work, her best showing was in the derensive court. Its through her righting spirit and speed that she climbed the ladder of success. Letter winner 4. Guard. As a substitute she had the aggressiveness and team spirit that was essential in time of need. Letter winner 4. Forward. As a substitute, this twin•s accuracy in handling the ball and making her shots proved valuable. Letter winner 3. Guard. Betty is the tallest girl of the defensive court. This together with her rebounding ability and interception or passes was a great help in keeping the opponents score below ours and will be counted on next season. Letter winner 3. Forward. Although this is Darlene•s first season at playing basketball the "Marengo style." her transfer rrom Ladora was a valuable asset to our team. She plays the pivot position and is noted for her right-banded shots. She will be of great help next season. Letter winner 3. Guard. Lois, also a Ladora transrer, is going to be a valued player in the co~ year. Her excellent sportsman– ship is always shown no matter which team wins. Letter winner 2. Guardo Although this is Alice 1 s first year in playing basket– ball, she has already proved herselr a valuable player.
