Jake developed a deadly two handed set shot this season. His £loor play was always good . Letter winner 3-1. Forward and Center. Lyle's one handed push shot seldom missed. His rebounding will be missed next season. Letter winner 4. Center. Dale was the best rebounder on the squad. His numerous tip-ins helped Marengo in many of her victories. Letter winner 3-4. Forward. Jack was the smallest man on the squad, but he made up for what he lacked in height with speed and deadly shooting. Letter winner 4. Forward. Denny was the best set shot on the squad. Denny will definitely be missed next year. Letter winner 2-3. Guard. Macker's right and left hand hook shot will be a big help to next year's team. Letter winner 3. Guard. Smitty showed great improvement through out the season. His specialty was a one handed push shot. Letter winner 2. Guard. Knuckles was a £ina defensive guard and could be counted on for his share of the points. Letter winner 4. Guard. Cass was one of the best "hustlers" on the team and a very good defensive player. Manager Frank was the manager of the basketball team this year. Just having Frank around kept the team's spirit up.
