Last year the band received a I rating in the State 1rus ic Contest. Man-y mem~)ers of this band were seniors and therefore Mr . Paul Kuentzel, our new music director, has had to rebuild much of this year's band . illest of last year's ensembles are still intact. Ensembles help to make a winning band. The selections which the band will play at the contest are "Marcho Poco" by Donald Moore , "A Walking Tune" by Clare Grund– man, and "Folk Song Suite" by Vaughan Williams.
