Throughout the year our mLxed chorua was under the direction of Mrs. Carthey, who has done a very successful job 1n our music depart– ment. At Christmas, the chorus combined with the Glee Clubs to present the story of the Nativity scene. Our chorus has done much to develop better musical understanding among its participants. OUr mixed chorus traveled to the preliminary contest at Tama and there received a "I". For contest this year our chorus is doing "De Animals a Com1n•• by Bartholomew, "Sanctus" by Shubert, and "Skip to MY Lou• by Griffith. The chorus has been giving much time to practice and through tb.eir ambition and effort they are sure to brtng home a "I" from the state contest this year.
