"BULLSHOT CRUMMOND" (ABOVE:) Bullshot Crummond and Rosemary let out screams of terror as they plunge over a cliff after discovering that their brake line has been cut. The Drama Department's spring play, "Bullshot Crummond", was presented March 12 in the CHS gym. The comedy follows the misadventures of British detec- tive Crummond and Miss Rosemary Fenton as they try to rescue Rosemary's father, Professor Rupert Fenton. The professor and his secret diamond formula have fallen into the clutches of the evil Otto von Brunno and his companion Lenya. The villain then lays plans to eliminate the detective after Rosemary goes to Crum- mond for help. Crummond is captured in the Converse Force Field, but barely escapes being blown up by the use of a stick of dynamite. Crummond and Rosemary also survive the crashing of their car and the attack of a huge spider. Crummond poses as Rosemary and saves Professor Fenton, but an angry von Brunno challenges him to a duel. While fighting for a gun, Crummond shoots Otto and Lenya and wins Rosemary's heart. (ABOVE LEFT:) Otto von Brunno attempts to make contact with his superior to tell of the professor's capture while Lenya (Linda Stephenson) listens. (LEFT:) Crummond, unsuccessfully disguised as Rosemary Fenton, uses his dueling "expertise" to fend off a bored von Brunno. SpriQg Play 85
