Other courses include Recent U .. History, American Government, and Ge– ography. Elgin High chool students are probably most fa– miliar with Biology, hemi try and Ph)sic which are offered by the cience Department. However Physical cience and Geology are courses also given. These classes prepare students for higher education in their selected fields. Our Mathematics Department endeavours to teach student to under tand the science of number . Many courses at all level are a ailable to students.
