An opponent plays follow the leader as Larry Wenzel goes for a TD. 65 This year the Elgin High School Junior Varsity football team came through with a 5--4 record. They started the season, against Proviso V\Test, with a win of 19-13. The next two games of the eason, against Wheaton and Glenbard East, proved to be a disap– pointment for the Maroons as they lost both of the games. The energetic team aroused the audience with a win at Homecoming, the score 27- 12. The team went on to further victory by beating Larkin 14--0. This was a large succe s for Elgin be ause all the scores were made in the first quarter of the game. The game proved to be successful and a nice way to end the season.
