We began an active year ... paid our class dues, elected class officers, received schedules, and trudged down the hall in our new class sweat– ers. By now, dates were just "old stuff" to us. We had something else to worry about ... get– ting our drivers license. With an eye on the future, we began our project for the year . . . selling auto license plates. We finally recovered from sore throats and tired feet to find that our sales nearly doubled what we expected.
