The FFA had many community projects .such as the B.O.A.C. pro- ject where they redesigned and landscaped the city park. The money making projects were very .successful. They sold well over seven thousand pounds of fruit and sausage. Thi.s was the first year for many new and exciting programs in the chapter. One of the best was the Chapter Sweetheart Contest held in the spring of the year. The three members to receive the State Farmer Award were Gary Armbrister, Ron Hrabe and Fred Westhusin. The chapter advisor Marvin Hachmeister received the Master Vocational Education Award for his outstanding leadership and teaching ability. Compliments of PLAINVILLE FFA
