Extended Services FBLA and VIC A FBLA is a very active club offered at C.C.H .S. To become an FBLA member you must be taking a busi– ness class at the vocational school. The main purpose of the club Is to promote leadership and business ca– reers. To do so, FBLA takes many in– teresting field trips. They also go to FBLA reglonals, where many proceed to state competition . A $1 ,000 schol– arship is rewarded from FBLA, and a $500 scholarship is sponsored by Atochem to those outstanding FBLA college-bound members. Vocational Industrial Clubs of America, VICA, Is a very Interesting club, dealing with welding . They re– pair and build many things, Including tobacco wagons and commercial and home barbecue grills. In the last year, members of VICA raffled a col– or television In order to raise money for activities. VICA's goal is to pro– mote futures in welding. A VICA member works hard on his project.
