ey Club members Jonlca Dulin and Jalmle Aorgan show just how much fun they had :Mstmas caroling. Numerous Activities Serve Community KEY CLUB The Key Club concentrates on helping others. They are a student branch of the Kiwanis Club and are sponsored by Mrs . Hazeldean. Throughout the year, they do many projects to Improve society. At Christmas time. they collected food and delivered food baskets for their Feed A Family Project. They also went Christmas caroling at the Green Valley Nursing Center. In Jan– uary, the Key Club sponsored a Pret– tiest Legs contest. The contestants were the basketball players and votes cost a penny each. They raised a total of $74.09. In February, they had a Save A Sweetheart Cam– paign. During lunch. you could sign up to quit smoking. The Key Club signed up a total of 86 students. In April. they held a Walk-a-thon . Key Club members went out and got people to sponsor them by making donations. Then. on a Saturday morning they set out walking at the track . The money they raised went to the National Cystic Fibrosis Founda– tion. As you see, no matter what the Key Club Is doing, It Is always for the benefit of others.
