The Maze of Financial Aid Early In their senior year, many college– bound students enter the maze of Financial Aid forms. These never ending., incompre– hensible forms are a necessary evil for the soon-to-be college student. Without them, money to pay for tuition, books, and fees would have to come from "known" sources. With their information, maybe, just maybe, a grant or scholarship might come through . Parents, therefore, search their In– come tax records and call various colleges to find a willing admissions officer. Students, like DIDI Johnson and Tim Meister, consult with Coun– selor Rick Schepman, and, somehow, the problems get resolved before the entering freshman leaves home. 21
