86 I MPROVEMENT Led to Success The Boys' Varsity Golf team Im– proved their season this year with a winning 10-7 record. Four mem– bers advanced to reglonals: John Way, Jimmy Hayes, Todd Crawford, and Eric Shields. They placed fifth among 14 teams In eighth region action. Jeremy Mefford and Mike Wil– liams also helped the team ac– complish Its winning record, but fell short of making reglonals . John Way captured the MVP honors by leading the team all year with his 41 strokes per nine holes. Allin all, golf had a very successful season.
