90 ~ D ETERMINATION Running With Pride During the season. the Panther track team did exceptionally well. The boys team was well represent– ed at the state track meet. The 400m relay team of Ray, Spencer. Perry. and Carr broke a school rec– ord with a time of 44.3. Ray placed In the 110 and 300 hurdles, finishing second and fourth. Spencer com– peted in the triple jump and Carr In the long jump. Competing for Car– roll County In shot put was Can– non. Despite a successful season, none of the girls qualified for state. Varsity sprinter, Laura Tyska, races on to victory. Senior Trisha Smith pushes to win.
