Orators Address Judges and Homerooms Original oratory, extemporaneou peaking, and inter- pretation of dramatic and humorou literature were fields explored b member of the Foren ic League in preparing their pre entation for meet with team from other county chool . Although pre entation were individual, members of the League attended and performed at competitions as a team from Whitman. Each participant' presentation was rated at each meet, and total point resulted in several fir t, econd, and third place trophie for Whitman's team. Radio tation are not unique in having chimes; Whit– man acquired four gold chime to replace the xylophone that had previou ly heralded the morning announcements.
