Rouses Class Spirit On March 4, the annual Tri-Tilt game between Walt Whit– man, Walter Johnson, and Bethesda-Chevy Cha e wa held. ot the regular Varsity squad , the teams appeared on court in a variety of uniforms, ready to compete for the "cham– pion hip." As Whitman Tri-Tilt cheerleader pranced on the court in their flowered uniforms, the Senior team prepared to face its fir t rival, BCC. The victory went to the Viking , who trampled over the Baron by a two-point margin. In the next game with WJ, the Spartan managed to score a narrow margin over Whitman. The real winner of the event wa the BCC Education Foundation, a scholar hip fund which received all the ticket money from the games. Pen ive faculty cheerleaders bedecked in uniform add to the spirit of the Tri·Tilt tournament. Cheerleader Cathy Lord enthusiastically supports the Junior team. Defense Bob Pollin stretches to block a Walter Johnson shot.
