JV Matmen Tal(e Four Of Ten Matches In an attempt to pin the man from B-CC, Kenny Hackman uses a crotch half nelson. Bob Gould tries for a guillotine pin at the St. Albans meet. With an overaU record of four wins, four los es, and two ties, the Walt Whitman Junior Varsity matmen showed potential Varsity power. Viking hopes for success were aroused in the first match of the eason when the team cru bed Kennedy 33-15. Still eeking an undefeated eason, the JV grapplers wrestled again t Peary and Richard Mont– gomery for two successive ties. In the next game, however, the matmen lost to Walter Johnson. The Norsemen then upended B.C.C.'s JV 23-14. Although losing the next two matche against Sherwood and Springbrook, the grapplers offset the losses with a win over Blair.
