After football games, the Var ity Club mem· bers cleaned the confetti and popcorn from the bleachers. During halftime and at the end of ba ketball game , the boys served the school by sweeping the gym floor. By bring· ing Canada's Harlem Diplomats to Whitman to play the faculty All-Star , the Var ity Club rai ed fund for a whirl– pool bath for the athletic program.
