Lil' Abner Is Gi,'en To Capacity Crowd The cene wa Dogpatch USA, and the mood was lively and entertaining. With excellent direc- tion, overpowering talent, and a full house, "Lil' Abner" was presented to the public at Tibbits Theater. This high chool production has been acclaimed far and wide as the greatest release to hit Broadway. (Hanchett). Under the choral direction of kip Frizzell, the songs were sung to perfection and to the delight of the audience. The leading roles were played by Nannette Olmsted and Mike Doll, who both did a tremendous job, Ella Burk, who played the role of Mammy Yokum, will always be remembered for her fine acting performance and her striped socks. All in All, CH can be very proud of their fir t and not last, high school musical performance.
