We, the Senior Class of the year nineteen hundred and fifty-one, South Lake High School, City of St. Clair Shores, State of Michigan, the United States of America, being of supposedly sound mind and memory, do make publish, and de– clare this to be our Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any Will or Wills heretofore made by us. SECTION I FIRST: We give, devise, and bequeath unto our Principal, Wesley E. Black, and our Superintendent, John W. Lewis, our good will, our blessings , and most deserved thanks for all the many things they have done for us during our high school years. SECOND : We give, devise, and bequeath unto the Faculty, our deepest thanks and heartiest gratitude for their patience and understanding guidance throughout these difficult years. THIRD: We give, devise, and bequeath unto our Sponsors, Miss Arline Begert and Mr. Robert Lawrence, for outstanding valor beyond the call of duty , our hum– blest and deepest gratitude and sincerest thanks. FOURTH: We give, devise, and bequeath unto our beloved parents, our sin– cerest devotion and gratitude for all they have done for us all during our life, and for all their encouragement and self-sacrifices. FIFTH: We give, devise, and bequeath unto the Junior Class, our skilled en– gravings on the desks, all extra credits, and our much respected place in the minds and hearts of the faculty and student body. SECTION II The following valuable and personal articles and effects hereafter mentioned are to be distributed to the several sundry persons likewise mentioned. May they use them for the best benefits of themselves and their posterity. I, Clara Allen, will and bequeath unto Sally and Joan, all my school books. I, Donna Almond, will and bequeath unto Loretta Shade, my nickname, ''Dagmar.'' I, Gloria Almond, will and bequeath unto Bob Fields, my nickname, "Goose." I, Dick Arnold, will and bequeath unto Norma Novenski, my government book. I, Stanley Bean, will and bequeath unto Chuck Neal, my car. I, Nira Bedker, will and bequeath unto Luella Holmes, '' Octoom.'' I, JoAnn Bell, will and bequeath unto Don Morrissett, my ability to get along with his brother. I, Patricia Benson, will and bequeath unto Pat Walsh, my ability to laugh at anything. I, Jean Bloch , will and bequeath unto Pat Troll, my ability to get along with Mr. Donik in Government class. I , David Brown, will and bequeath unto the up and coming Freshmen, my vocabulary. I, Bonnie Burns, will and bequeath unto Caroline Porter, my ''perfect'' shooting ability.
