Troy's football team experienced a very poor season. The boys just never got go– ing for 4 full quarters in any game. Although the team showed brief flashes of fight and spirit, they never managed to click for a winning combination. Coach Nyquist will have an army of returning lettermen, who, with a years exper– ience, should better by far 1952's record. Don Pechota, Troy's ALL-SOC guard, and most valuable player, will captain the 53' eleven.
